About Us

CleftPALS WA tries to share support in a variety of ways,
  • as a voluntary support group for parents, children and families affected by a cleft or cleft related condition
  • offering support, friendship and information to anyone who is interested in learning more about cleft conditions

We arrange monthly gatherings, on the 15th of the month, so you can meet other people affected by a cleft condition. Venues vary so check the latest news letter or the news and events section. National Awareness Day is on November 8th. Each year, CleftPALS WA organises a gathering that you are welcome to be involved in.

By joining CleftPALS WA, you will receive four newsletters per year. Newsletters will, among other things, keep you informed about gatherings and the experiences of other people.

We also provide equipment, which may be needed for your baby,

  • Various bottles, teats and other feeding equipment
  • Strapping packs for cleft lip babies (when required)
  • Breast pumps for hire
  • Splints (to hire or buy) for post surgery
